Meet The Optometrist

Dr. Lucy Yen is a California Low Vision eye doctor committed to providing vision rehabilitation to patients with decreased vision and a desire to see better. She serves San Jose, California. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in Molecular and Cell Biology with a neuroscience emphasis. Upon graduation, she went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious Indiana University Bloomington in 2002. Dr. Yen can offer treatment options to patients who have been told that their glasses cannot be made stronger.

Dr. Yen is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and a Fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists. She is committed to finding ways to improve her patients’ vision and invites anyone with low vision to call to discuss their situation.
